Tribute art

Good evening/morning/night something like that. I have some super cool nail art for everyone today! I decided to do a nice tribute piece to the band Psychedelic Koolaid. It's a super cool, totally awesome local band. Which everyone should check out here on fb and give them a like for support! The art that I did today was a wild colored water marble. I hope everyone enjoys it! Also I had a HUGE nail/makeup haul today, and I'll post the picture under the nail art.

New polish mix

Well it's been a few days since I've posted. I don't have any nails done for this post, but I do have a little something. I once again decided to mix up some glitter into a clear base and tested it out a bit. Not really sure what the exact color is, it turned out to be red/orange-ish. For this one I used white glitter, red glitter, and some red shard glitters. Opinions on it would be awesome, though you don't have to of course. I have a few questions like, if this were an actual purchasable polish would you buy it? Maybe a name for it? Or would you not even wear it? Post your answers in the comments if you'd be so kind. =)

Guitars and Art

Hello everyone, sorry it's been a few days. I just started my new job at Target and I've been working since Monday. Though today, I had some time before I went to work and so I did some nail art last night. Also what helped me along with my art was the fact that I recieved my runner up prize from Jordana Cosmetics for the Halloween nail art I did! Exciting right? I'll post a picture of what I won further down in the post. Besides that, my boyfriend has given me a great idea to do themed nail art, and he photographs them for me. Last night was the first attempt at doing nail art themed around something else. I ended up using one of his guitars and did nail art to match that, using some of the Jordana polishes I won of course. I did it all with brushes free hand since the tape I tried to use was wanting to pull my nail polish off. My free hand isn't that great but I feel like I did a decent job on it. I really hope everyone loves what I've done!

I tried to get the angles of the guitar into the art, I think it worked out!

Here's the prize that I won, minus about 7 more since I gave them to my mom. Thanks Jordana!

Nail art for the day

I woke up today wanting to do some nail art, but really wasn't sure what to do or what to wear (since I have oh so many choices). So I decided to look through some of my older nail art that I did and didn't like so much. I ended up picking the saran wrap marbling that I did a few months ago, just because I liked the end result, just not the way I did them. For the first art I used Sinful colors polish, so I did the same for this time around. This time, I have to say I LOVE this. The effect it makes is so pretty! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

This is the one I did today! Done with SC- Black on Black and Jungle Trail

And this is the previous one done with SC- Black on black and Snow me white

Polish collection....so far.

I figured I would show all of you my collection so far. Of course this picture is a bit outdated only by a few weeks, I've gotten more polish already. Haha. Though when I took this picture I counted about 150 at the time. Now if I were to guess I'd most likey be at 165 or 170. As far as I know I think I have a few vintage polishes. Not exactly positive though.

A few polish mixes

About a month or so ago I decided that I was extremely bored and started to fiddle with the nail polish I had lying around. So I grabbed a few of the old polishes I had and started to mix them up along with some nail art glitter, and some glitter polish. Somehow I ended up making a few purpleish ones and one blue one. By far I love the blue one I created.

First off the one on the left was a blue polish that I had, it was brandless, so I grabbed some glitter polishes, red, blue, and silver and shoved them in there. Little did I realize it was a blueberry scented polish! So it turned out maroon like and scented like Blueberry. How cool right? The middle I started with just a clear base and added these blue shred glitters, and blue fine glitters to it. About a minute later the base stripped the blue off the glitter and left the glitters silver! I thought it was ruined, but the base tinted into the blue color. I let this one sit for about a month and actually painted two of my toe nails with it to see what happened. I left it one for 2 weeks and it was fine! The glitter just sinks to the bottom. The last one I  made was a purple brandless/nameless polish. I ended up adding some glitters to it, some fine ones which made it shimmery and I added some glitter from Wet and Wild's Party of five glitters. It turned out pretty, but I'm not sure if I'm too fond of it. I hope you enjoy my little creations! I had making them..maybe I'll end up making some more.

Older nail art

As my first post of my new blog I will be posting pictures of some of my older nail art. Just because I want to get them out of the way first!

My first nail art! A blood splatter effect. I also made a tutorial on youtube at someone's request!

My first two attempts at water marbling! I love doing this.

A bit of art with painters tape.

Also some caviar beads! My boyfriend loved these.

Essie undies with Revlon glitter gloss in Pina Colada Pop.

Also my Sugar spun mummy art I did for Halloween! I won runner up in the Jordana Cosmetics Halloween contest.
